"The US could see a deficit of 450,000 Registered Nurses (RNs) available for direct patient care by 2025, thus we must take an all-hands-on deck approach to addressing this devastating nursing shortage. I've had the wonderful opportunity of educating nonpracticing, licensed RNs who wish to return to the workforce. I find the students to be mature, excited about relearning/learning skills, and self-motivated with the willingness to put in the required effort.

Our RN Re-Entry program equips RNs with the tools needed to return to the nursing profession and address the complex health needs of our citizenry. Some are even thinking about returning to graduate school to become nurse practitioners. I am very thrilled to be associated with increasing the nursing workforce."

Victoria Foster

PhD, RN, MSN, FNP-C

Elizabeth McLean, Dr. Foster’s RN Re-entry program student says, "Dr. Foster is a visionary leader that is committed to the advancement of the nursing profession and preparing non practicing RNs to reenter the workforce. She is a combination of a researcher, educator, and practitioner! Her innovative curriculum is a combination of remote self- guided education as well as, "hands on” real life experience in the Simulation lab. Dr. Foster is patient, kind and always responsive to our needs."
