At Clayton State Continuing and Professional Education, we take pride in our educational opportunities and have made it our goal to provide them to as many students as possible. Over time, we’ve learned that when you want to offer a stellar education to a wide audience, you can’t stay limited to a single campus. That’s why we have multiple locations to choose from, including our campus over in Fayette County.
Here’s an overview of our Fayette County location and what it has to offer, so you can determine whether or not it’s the right choice for you.
Why Should I Visit the Fayette County Location?
As a continuing education student, you lead a busy life. Aside from taking classes with us, you may have a job and family to take care of. If you add a long commute to our main campus on top of that, your schedule may start to look uncomfortably tight. If you live far away from the main campus, the Fayette County location may be a better option.
You’ll still have access to the engaging and informative courses that you’ve come to expect from us, but you’ll be able to free up a huge amount of time in your schedule that would have otherwise been spent commuting. We believe that work-life balance is one of the most important components of academic success, and hope that a shortened commute can help you establish that balance.
Key Info About the Fayette County Campus
So, what does the Fayette County campus have to offer? Though the course selection does differ slightly from campus to campus, each location still features the same programs, and allows you to develop the same overall skills. The Fayette County location offers courses such as the following:
- Accounting with Quickbooks, which will teach you how to use the Quickbooks software to write checks, invoices, and other key financial statements that are common in the workplace.
- Leading with Executive Presence, a brief course that will help you determine your leadership style and give you steps to emphasize your strengths while compensating for your weaknesses.
- American Sign Language, which will teach you the basics of communicating in ASL. This is an invaluable skill that will serve you well in both your professional and personal life.
Of course, our Fayette County campus still has more to offer that we haven’t covered here. If you’d like to take a closer look at our selection of courses, you can download the course booklet here.
